The headlights on our cars play a crucial role in our safety, but we hardly give them a second thought. Headlights have come a long way since the first, dim oil lamp versions that adorned the first automobiles. Thanks to a long line of inventors refining headlight technology, we no longer have to refill and relight our headlights.
